These are horizontal (GDS) and vertical (GDS-V) double suction centrifugal pumps. The suction and discharge flanges are on the lower casing and on the same axis. The casing can be split in two along its joint plane, which makes assembly and disassembly easy; maintenance or repair of the rotor assembly can be carried out without disconnecting the pump from the pipework. The suction and discharge flanges can be manufactured in accordance with ISO 7005-2 / PN16 and PN25. The impellers are balanced in accordance with ISO 1940 Class 6.3.
Double Suction Centrifugal Pumps are used for transferring clean and slightly contaminated, low-viscosity liquids that are non-abrasive and free of fibres and solid particles.
